Agents of Change - Janardhana’s Story of Changing Lives

Meet A.L. Janardhana, Project Director at the Association of People with Disabilities(APD), steering the “Hope Beyond Horizons” initiative in Mysore District since July 2022. Reaching out to seven taluks, the initiative addresses challenges faced by those in rural areas dealing with mental health issues. His team provides comprehensive rehabilitation, offering health, education, livelihood promotion, and improved access to mental health treatment across different levels. Despite challenges, their impact is evident, having reached 581 PWMIs and caregivers through LLL’s Rural Program since 2022.
