Texas Teacher Caught On Camera Making Racist Comments By Students

In Austin, Texas, a white teacher was caught on camera telling his middle school students, some of them Black, that he believes his race is “superior.” NBC News’ Gadi Schwartz reports on how that school district recently announced that the teacher no longer works there as their community comes to terms with the disturbing video.

As a black person that came out of school recently, I'll tell you he isn't the only teacher who thinks like this. He was just the only one willing to admit it.

I go to this school. He would also look at and act inappropriately around girls and was overall a creep. He was let go a long time ago (fired immediately, escorted out the next day) and we already have a replacement hire.

Edit: Also, he was the English teacher. I didn't have his class but my brother did.

Those kids were the smarted people in the room. The kid that honestly said "wow, I no longer respect you", that was powerful! Good on him! That kid going places!

The disappointment they felt when they realized their teacher said those things. You can hear the kids say that they respected him but not after what he said. It's crazy. You just never know.
