The Board of Deaf Children Australia are delighted to announce that David Wilson has been appointed to the role of CEO for three years.
David’s appointment follows an independent recruitment process led by Fisher Leadership.
David joined Deaf Children Australia as the National Employment Services Manager in March 2018 and has been Acting CEO for the past two months.
He has over 12 years’ experience in the disability sector in various senior management and leadership roles, with a strong background in service delivery, business development and leading teams in both for-profit and not-for-profit organisations
He has demonstrated experience in high quality service delivery of Commonwealth and State government contracts, working closely and effectively with key stakeholders, ensuring contract compliance and performance, and providing strategic leadership shaping service delivery to meet challenges in changing environments.
David is a dynamic, driven individual with proven experience in developing and fostering a high performance focused environment and leading culture change.
With the challenges facing the disability and not-for-profit sector, we are looking forward to working with him to develop and grow Deaf Children Australia, ensuring its future sustainability and success.
