Surprise Found At New Home Construction Start Up

Here is a short video of something I came across while on a new construction start up. Always double and triple check things. Especially this time of year when we are all working very long hours and running around crazy. It is very easy to make mistakes.

Good find. It does happen but installers should double check what they putting in. When in doubt call the person who sold the job.

Went to the exact same issue recently. Lady had three buckets of water over the weekend in her garage before she called lol. Got it rectified Monday morning for her.

omg! see this is not such a bad mistake. but when you think about all the headache and pain and money that would have been spent if you didn't catch this! Would have been left up to the homeowners to take care of and most likely wouldn't have caused a problem until after home warranty.

Haha I had one like that last week but it was lennox CX35 laying on it's back and the SLP98 was laying on it's back horizontally also. I asked the homeowner who installed and they responded "friend of the family". When you have brilliant friends like that who needs...

thinking about it whilst having a lol. I want to know where/who got the coil installed that was supposed to be there? is there a coil installed upside-down somewhere now? :))

That’s really sad. Must be a new guy bc a experience installer knows his model numbers and before solder they take service core out and would off noticed not right coil. Oh well hopefully installer learns from

Sweet, the flue pipe is right ln front of the evaporator. That'll make for a happy tech in the future.
