Σοβαρό πρόβλημα φαίνεται να αντιμετωπίζει και πάλι η τουρκική οικονομία, αφού η συναλλαγματική ισοτιμία της τουρκικής λίρας έναντι του αμερικανικού δολαρίου, δεν έχει σταματήσει να κατρακυλάει από τις 22 Φεβρουαρίου έως σήμερα.
Πιο συγκεκριμένα, η τουρκική λίρα, η οποία είχε φτάσει πριν λίγο χρονικό διάστημα κάτω από την ισοτιμία των 7, δέχεται και σήμερα μεγάλες πιέσεις παρουσιάζοντας μεγάλη πτώση και αγγίζοντας αυτή τη στιγμή, στις 12 ώρα Ελλάδας, την τιμή των 7,65.
Και για όσους δεν γνωρίζουν, αυτό σημαίνει ότι 1 αμερικανικό δολάριο ισούται με 7,65 τουρκικές λίρες.

Turkish economy seems to be facing a serious problem again, as the exchange rate of the Turkish lira against the US dollar has not stopped falling since February 22 until today.
More specifically, Turkish lira, which had recently reached below the exchange rate of 7, is still under great pressure, showing a big drop and reaching the price of 7.65 at 12 o'clock Athens time.
And for those who do not know, this means that 1 US dollar is equal to 7.65 Turkish lira.

Turkey's GDP (AEP) was $761B in 2019. It 2020 it dropped to $649B, a 15% decrease. This is published everywhere online, so the world knows Turkey saw a big drop in 2020, as did most countries due to Covid. Greece's AEP went down about the same in the same period.

Most countries saw a 5% decrease in GDP though, much less than Greece and Turkey, because these 2 countries depend on revenue from Tourism a lot more than others.
