I had a book called Overcoming Procrastination. I had it for about 5 years and never read a page in it. Lol. I finally got rid of it.

I think everyone should be allowed at least ONE bad spending habit. The Zelda book was hilarious to me because that's kind of what I do, I have dozens of artbooks that I just keep merely for asthetics! They just look so cool, and I keep thinking to myself "I'll get through them one day."

I don’t buy cigarettes anymore, I saw it is highly draining my money out and even very bad for my health, So I quit smoking.

Depending on how nice your car is and if you're owning vs leasing, you should actually avoid the drive-thru car washes. The scrubbing pads they use for smacking (cleaning) your car aren't frequently washed or cleaned so you're actually scratching your car or spreading debris all over your car. IMO it's better (cheaper) to buy a power washer to clean the car yourself. It's actually kinda fun. Thanks as always for sharing so much insight!

I already did told you on another video how much I liked your financial master list. Since I had already been tracking each expense for years now, I had a similar spreadsheet showing categories and month columns. Yours was so much cleaner and organized and had that section of formulas for savings that I would have never figured out how to do, much less the section for assets which I also had on mine but it was just a mess and so hard to track or see what my savings progress was monthly or my assets and investment growth. It took me a straight 13 hours to transfer all my information over to yours but you changed my financial life and gave me hope I have never had that I could ever retire. Thanks to you, at 55 years old, I can see that I really can retire someday. Yeah I’m going to be pretty old by then and have to really bust my butt to get there but prior to you, I had zero hope and couldn’t see any way to get there. So again, thank you 🙏🏻

#15 & #16 are things I don’t spend money on anymore. Investing in a good coffee maker and just making it at home is always the best move! Great video!

I don’t know if you’ve done it yet but could you do a video on “tracking purchases” and go in depth on how you do it, what you do it on (eg spreadsheet) and then you can go in-depth on what you’ve figured out about your purchasing after you started making them. Just an idea! :)

$9 for a car wash! I've saved $3, 200+ minus the cost of warm water and detergent by washing my old car with a bucket and brush on a stick about every 2 weeks. Did it yesterday, and, as sometimes happens, but rarely in winter, it didn't rain as forecast, so I had to hose the car down afterwards. Suppose this is out of the question if you live in a big city.

Ive been proud of myself lately. Ive always been the type of person that spends quite a big extra to get the top of the line stuff but as of late i purchased hesdphones that i generally would spend between $250-$350 and i opted to buy a pair for $40. I also cut my coffee purchases down. I was getting coffee every single day at dutch bros. Starbucks etc so i decided to start making my own coffee at home. First thiught was to spend $100 plus on a coffee machine but i opted to get something that will work perfect for me but it was only $40! Everything adds up! Been loving your videos man! Budgeting, saving and investing!

5:50 On vinyl, when I’m doing WFH I’ll plan my breaks around flipping a record (stretching my legs every 30 minutes or so) . Plus it’s a piece of tech that doesn’t require your phone and thrift shopping vinyl can be a fun cheaper way to “therapy shop”

I don't bug a TV bundle package since I don't watch TV. They're usually around $300 with the PVR, modem and installation fee. I just watch Netflix for only $9.99

One of the biggest thing I stopped buying is clothes. Especially fast fashion. I went from spending around $1200-$1500 a year on new clothes, and now I just spend maybe $600 a year.

I agree with most of these and you do bring up a good point about certain concert tees or other merch that end up not getting worn as much. However, I still like to buy something from the merch table, like a poster, cd, vinyl etc., and especially if it's a smaller band opening up for someone as it's a good way to support them while they are on the road.

I don't buy dryer sheets either. I just use wool balls. They are natural and healthy and save money.

I love my Ray bans, costing 300 everytime I buy them and I've lost 4 of them over the years. I have given up buying them as I'm so clumsy and no point in spending so much on it.

I've been slowly assembling a collection of Blu-ray discs of classic movies I like, because downloads are only as good as the service provider says so, but Physical Discs Are Forever (tm)

#1 for me is fast food. I used to hit McDonald's/Wendy's all the time on the way home from work. It's so much cheaper and better for you to make dinner at home.
