Well... he's called The voice for a reason. His studio versions are great, live is where the magic happens though... you can tell he loves what he does. It feels like he's holding back in the studio and he just let loose when he's on the stage and gives not less than 100% everytime. Feeding off the crowds energy and that crowd just adores him. You can tell he's genuinely happy when on stage, his eyes and his smile tell it all. That's something you can't fake ❤

John was diagnosed with cancer in 2022. Part of his jaw was removed, followed by reconstructive surgery. The operation began at 8am in a Melbourne hospital and was completed at 7.30pm that night. “Like we've said before, cancer is a terrible, terrible thing, ” Robert Farnham said. “It's his time to walk that road, but he's cancer free" I don't know that John will ever sing again, but grateful that he is alive, he is our Aussie icon.

Hi Zack….as an older Aussie music fan, I am a bit abashed to admit that I while I went to many Farnham concerts….I just took his huge talent for granted. It was just Farnsey not some huge international star. You tube has given me access to so many fabulous artists performances and made me realise just how special John was. Another current Australian artist, Guy Sebastian, gives me similar vibes….great videos, better live.
