I agree. There are still a lot of organizations that are doing “Scrum” which is really Scrum in name only (for now).

Scrumban is a term that is also commonly used which now makes me cringe. I think you guys have officially corrupted me in a good way. :). I might be helping move the needle to PSK a little though. There is still this misconception that an initiative can be Scrum or Kanban, and I had fallen prey to that misconception as well. The harder part (to me) will be starting an initiative with people who have varying degrees of understanding of Kanban and Scrum.
