Nine Inch Nails - March Of The Pigs - Drum Cover - Trey B

Показать описание
So I haven’t hit N.I.N. yet and there’s a chance this will be a back-to-back N.I.N. stretch. This is a messed up yet brilliant song from a drumming standpoint. From their 1994 album ‘The Downward Spiral’ is a drum cover of “March Of The Pigs” which is best known among drummers for its 29/8 time sig. But, to me, you just feel in 7’s in groups of 3 before moving over to your friendly neighborhood 8. I’ve had zilch in terms of formal training and haven’t counted anything in forever (wish I could). Similar to Led Zepp’s “The Crunge” – you just feel what’s happening and roll with it. For many years, I’ve considered Trent Reznor to be a genius in terms of music. This is just yet another gig I would’ve loved and been honored to do but they're at a level where cats way, way better than me have always been on tap. So, I’ll gladly cover it and hope you all find it entertaining and worthwhile. It’s certainly not exact but I don’t stray from the 7/8 concept even though I stray from the floor accents at times. As always, I hope you are ALL doing well and have a wonderful extended weekend. I cannot express my gratitude properly for you comments, likes and support.
