Lalisa MV was confusing, but I love how she got to show soo many different sides of her. It really showed us how she can ace any genre tbh.

Cookie tbh should've start with pre-debut project or something. Like covers or dance practice, give another 2 yrs and debut them. Just like Seventeen and smrookies.

Tbh Lisa carried her solo by her charismatic vibe YG just did her dirty
(including less promotion) 😢

YG seems to dislike their own talent. Honey, Lisa brings MILLIONS to your company. So, WHY do you treat her this way? Why? I like Lalisa, and Money is fire.

I feel like the NTX one is actually a rare moment in K-pop where it was cultural appreciation not appropriation as they weren’t making fun of the cultural outfits and were instead wearing them specifically to show love for the different cultures

Fun fact - 'Lalisa' was repeated 47 times in the song.

4:37 for me personally just wearing another countries outfit isn’t that much culture appropriation since they said the concept is like diversity

Lisa is my bias in bp and I really like her but it's true that LALISA mv is soo confusing. Lisa is very talented and deserves to show her talent.

edit - i swear if one more person would be rude to me in the comments-

The more I listen to Lalisa the more I like it. It was risky for her to sing all about herself and even put her root of being thai yet sing in Korean but she did it because she is proud of being Thai I respect her for that. Plus by doing so make us Thai people so happy. It even help boost the tourist industry in her hometown. I just want to thank Lisa for your courage and your love for us. We love you Lisa

Things to correct about Honey Popcorn:
1-The original Line-Up members are still JAV Actresses...
2- They are 5 now and one of the 1st Gen member graduated

The South Korean government should like impose a law only allowing kpop trainees from 17 (intl age) years old and above to debut. That way they get to train more, sharpening up their skills while simultaneously being able to enjoy their childhood.

the honey popcorn situation is a bit sad imo. like what if this is their way of starting anew? if this is their second chance? and I also heard how young girls can be manipulated/forced into jav or adult modeling, so I wouldn't hold their pasts against them. their lyrics in deaeseohsta is also touching and feels honest to their experience, but who knows?

Lisa solo debut concept is herself. Like the song name as her name lalisa. In the mv, we can see lisa many characters, china downtown as lisa are popular dance mentor in china's survival show. The hiphop lisa, the thai lisa, the bubbly lisa, the charismatic polisa. If you know lisa, you can see the dots in the mv.

The fact that most of these are mistreatment of The companies tbh The idols don't deserve the hate 😢

Lalisa is hard to listen 2 when it's your first time listening to it. But when you listen to it more it gets more and more likable. That's how Blackpink songs are

some things on honey popcorn from a honey popcorn super fan: all 3 original members are still active AV stars, in december of 2018, miko graduated from honey popcorn and in 2019 3 new members were added (a former member of idoling!!!, a former member of sherbet, and ruka) and came back with their song de-aeseohsta. i think all of their songs are really good, if youre into cute concepts you may enjoy their music

Ok let's talk about NTX since I kept scrolling down but I saw no one talking about them.
This is my first time hearing about them, so I immediately went and checked them out... honestly, in my opinion ( which might trigger a lot of people) I was glad to see them wearing my country's traditional clothing 🥰.
I took a peek on some of their other stuff as well.
* Anyways I personally think that the culture appropriation "excuse" shouldn't be a thing, people should be able to wear clothes of other cultures ( just like we listen to K-pop music and enjoy it even though most of us are not Korean) clothes could unite us as well.
Conclusion is: I don't think they deserve to be hated. With all the potential they were showing, NTX deserved better 😢😔

I think what was really disappointing for "lalisa" is the promotions. It really seems like there was never an "era", just three performance with no interviews, variety shows or any kind of content.

Lisa album actually are big risk. Thank gosh she is Lisa, her records set as a soloist and female K pop is so big though. First she suprass BP in first week sales, Second she suprass BP in Shazam, third she tied with BP in most I tunes, fourth she beat BP in monthly listeners with just two songs. Undeniably Lisa is very powerful itself to the point she can able to beat or ties with her own group. I hope YG have Little big effort in her solo debut especially the promotion. I understand that YG have BP solo according to each member like Lisa she's more into hip-hop side. You know when YG makes hip-hop is less meaningful but has a strong and savage sound or beats. So I expect not everyone kinda like it.
