Ardell Magnetic Liner and Lash Kit First Impressions

Hey beauty babes! Today I'm testing out the Ardell Magnetic Liner and Lashes! I had heard some great things about these lashes and considering they are much more affordable than the MoxieLash system I had to give them a go! Find out if they are Fabulous or a complete FAIL!?

I haaate the formula of this gel! So thick, hard to spread. It seemed a little bit stronger than the Eyelure and Kiss liners. But also what matters is the magnets on the lashes, seems like different brands have different strengths, like my Lash Liner System lashes seem to have stronger magnets. I think there is a lot more refinement for these brands to make to this concept to make them worth the time and money!

I would recommend trimming them on the outer corner, it’s almost impossible to stick them down too close to the inner corner.

I couldn’t get this brand to work for me either!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️A tip that could help you try magnetic lashes that’ll actually work decent...MoxieLash sells a mini liquid liner that you can purchase and just use the magnetic lashes from this Ardell kit. And I have a code with Moxie to take a few more dollars off, too. 🙈🤗
The drugstore magnets in the lashes aren’t as strong as MoxieLash, but they work nicely IMO. And the MoxieLash liquid liner is the only magnetic liner that’ll actually work to keep my magnetic lashes on for more than a few minutes lol👌🏼

I'm so bummed they didn't work right away for you. Though I think it's the gel liner- I struggled getting the more natural pair on like the liner dried insanely way too quickly for me. I usually like a thinner inner liner and I've found its best to do a bit more thicker line, nothing crazy thick but just more than I normally would. I hope they end up working for you!

So what I would be interested in know is if you felt like your eyes were more sensitive after using these. I don't know why but for some reason the magnetic liner freaks me out, and makes me shy away from this whole system. On the other hand I had kinda hoped that these would work out and I would finally be able to ware false lashes.... on another note, I love your lipstick color!

Man that is so frustrating! I totally see what you mean with them popping up, I can just feel like I have lashes on and they're gonna pop off!

Yep, sorry I felt bad for you, but laughed as well. At least we know it's an honest review on these lashes. I have an idea for them.... TRASH. Kidding aside did you try the bending thing with them to limber them up more and maybe take your tweezer and bend the end magnetic a bit to curve downward. Look forward to the rewind to see what comes from other ways of trying to make them work. Love you!

I tried both the gel version and the liquid version of these and they are both absolute crap.
