If you want a powerful executive car that won't cost the earth to run, the default choice is usually something German. And diesel. However, the Lexus GS 450h provides a refreshing alternative to the likes of the BMW 5 Series, Mercedes E-Class and Audi A6. And now, thanks to an all new chassis and fresh design, it's better than before. The GS is a sharp-looking, luxurious, well-built and reliable car and in the case of the GS450h Hybrid, provides plenty of performance with impressive 46mpg economy.

To all those lexus haters out there my 2004 ls430 requires only oil change and vrake pads n minor issues that to in months meanwhile i baught bmw and audi had so many issues with them . So I'll take reliablility with luxury

Just got a used 2015 GS300h. It's a brilliant car. The ride is so refined and comfortable. The stereo is absorbing. (I used to have a 2007 LS460 and 2017 IS300h).

These are brilliant cars. The 450h will do 80mph, and the engine will be at 1500 rpm. So smooth and very efficient for its drive train.
Although CVT, you can use the paddles to slow down for cornering, and it works really well.

I think so too! Maybe its because this is a non-F Sport hybrid and not the GS 350 F Sport. A lot of reviews have even said that the new Lexus GS is what used to be the 5 Series, aka an E60 in Lexus guise. Well, of course except for the M5 which is still the class benchmark, but nevertheless, this GS has converted me from a 5 Series (excluding M5) fan, and into a GS fan!

Just an update I have this car now for 10 months and like it very much. now f sport with rear wheel steer Average £33 usage a week and tax £155.
