Lets Build Twitter From the Ground Up: Episode 184 || Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL and React

Building large scale application is more difficult than many people understand or expect. Join me in this long running series where I set out to duplicate one of the most popular social media platforms ever creating using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, PostgreSQL data, React JS web application framework and more.

In this episode we jump back into the frontend, to get started working on actual content that goes inside of the create message modal. Our primary focus of this episode is to be able to fetch all of our pre-existing conversations and display them inside of the create message modal for a user to select. We first create a new component for the create message modal content and fill out the structure of it. Then we create a new async thunk in our message slice to to be able to fetch our conversations. Finally, we fetch the conversations when the application loads and map through them in the content component we created to display all of the users we have messaged with in the past.
