If you take a 1 dollar bill and flip it over, then tape a 5 dollar bill to it with as little tape as possible you can feed it through a change machine. The machine reads the 1 dollar gives you 4 quarters then registers the 5 dollar bill and spits it back out (it is obviously not legal)

Yes you should ask for a charger but NEVER EVER EVER EVER get a base. Many airbnbs and hotels are using variety of cameras such as: Clock cams, Alarm clock cameras, Ceiling fan cameras, etc. To spot cameras turn off all lights and open your camera, turn on the flash and check every. single.inch of the place. If you see ANY reflection that's not a mirror get out of the hotel and cancel your nights or cover the reflected spot. Leave the hotel only if you feel unsafe or all rooms are the same.
