This music video is not about SF (although it's a gorgeous city). It's the camera effect known as "tilt-shift" photography. This makes people look like ants, cars and planes look like toys, and everything is from a smaller perspective.

The song basically says that if you look at things differently, you'll be able to see more good than bad in life, and your issues in life turn out to be not so bad. Combining the song and video together makes for a nice interpretation.
