Actually they’re LESS efficient, but still love them. Such cool motors

They are not as efficient, cannot lubricate their surfaces properly without burning oil, only produce a fraction of the torque, and undergo more component stress(notably the apex seals which are comparable to an engines piston rings, which in a rotary have to be replaced every 60-80K miles)

And my Porsche 944 still smoked the tires off a friend's RX-7, when he dared to challenge me to a duel - years ago.

I love your 3d printed engines. Keep it up! You should 3d print a w16
Imacarguy
Actually, theirs way more to learn about rotary engines and much still not understood to reach full potential. Hens the comment about the efficiency of the engine. The potential is there, the math isn't. Sounds weird but true.

They’re absolutely not more efficient. I remember test driving the Mazda. What put me off was its poor fuel efficiency in city environments of around 14 l/100km in comparison to around 8l/100km of an equivalent BMW, AUDI etc. it was the worst by far
