My 2000 Civic coupe has 213, 000+ miles and counting! I drive it 30 miles one way to work, 60 miles a day, 3 miles to get out of the city of Lancaster, then the rest is highway, then country road with a 55 mph speed limit to Hershey! Something breaks on it, doesn't take much to repair it and it comes back to life! Even the a/c still works! Plenty of bumper scrapes that were spray painted over by me, but this car just won't quit!

Bought a 2010 Corolla 3 years ago.
112, 000 now. Just changed the oil and a set of tires, no issues, surprisingly quiet and smooth driving 36.1 miles per gallon!

Beater cars are my favorite. Cheap and easy to maintain. No worries if a new scratch or ding pops up on it. Can load the back seat with crap and not give a damn

The first car I bought for myself was a 1985 Toyota Corolla. I bought it shortly after graduating high school. It was brand new off the line when I started kindergarten. It ran great. Now I drive a little Honda Insight. I guess I just enjoy getting excellent fuel economy.

I had a somewhat beater looking '07 Honda Accord Sedan 5 speed manual that I bought 2 years ago when I was 21. Even though I had 2 new bumpers front and back but I decided not to paint it the same way as the rest of the car. Even though it looked ugly but it was one of the best beater cars I ever had and it was my first stick shift car that I owned that actually runs and drives. I saved so much money on gas and I treated it like it was a fresh new car despite being over 167, 000 miles. Which made me appreciate how hard I worked for it.

My 10 year old Rio came pre dinged, its on the verge of hitting 144K miles and I believe my fuel injectors are shot. All in all runs fine, good on gas, and nobody wants to steal it

My favorite car ever was my 1996 Geo Tracker. OMG, the fun I had! Rag top convertible that I replaced new two times. Unzip the back window and I could slide my kayak right in it. It went through mud and over rocks like a champ. Never had an issue. I wanted to be buried in it I loved it so much. 😂
