Animation - How an axial flow variable displacement piston pump works.

Hi Guys, Hydraulic pumps are of various types, axial flow variable displacement piston pump are used in heavy hydraulic construction equipments. Tracked excavator machines commonly use this type of pumps.
The advantage of this pump is that, the flow is variable compared to gears pumps in which we have fixed flow.
In this video we have explained all the components of the pump and how each components contribute to its working, you can see how the flow can be varied using the swash plates and how the pistons move inside the rotting cylinder block. Suction and discharge valve are not fixed as you are keep saying, it can be changed also that's it's called variable pump as it is use in hydraulic system
