TOOL BOX - made with WINE CORKS- does it work ?

I made a tool box with cork to store the tools.

I’m not an expert, DIY is my hobby and these are just my views, opinions and thoughts.

Creative use for those old socket set boxes. Funny, I was just thinking of a couple of them in my shed this morning. The socket trays are long gone, so I was debating whether to throw them away. Keep tweaking the prototype, I want to see a finished product you love.

Looks great! Awesome thinking outside/inside the box 😁. I have a similar old Snap On box I paid a couple dollars for that somebody painted a terrible green. You started my thoughts moving on possibilities to recover that jewel. Thanks!

I love the look of custom cut outs for tools in storage, they can look really cool and are of course good organisation, but I'd regularly want to swap out tools so it would rapidly become outdated for me !

Cutting cork board on a table saw with a blazing fever is how I cut my finger to the you're so sick, dizzy with a super high fever it's not a good idea to be messing around with a table lucked out that day, just a nick to the bone.
