As a fried chicken lover I am sad. I love KFC's chickens but sadly it's the only fried chicken fast food chain that we have while I am missing out on all the other chicken chains on this list.

It's true that Zaxby's sauce was inspired by Guthrie's. The original recipe for Guthrie's sauce—once published in an Alabama newspaper—was for a commissary-size amount: 15 pounds mayonnaise, 7 pounds ketchup, 21 ounces Worcestershire sauce, 6 ounces black pepper, and 6 ounces garlic salt.

Jollibee and Bojangles are the only two that have no outposts in AR. I used to eat Bojangles in NC and loved it.

A sad fact about Bojangles. They tried expanding into West Virginia markets in 2016/2017 and was met with some positive reception over KFC. But by 2019, they withdrew from the West Virginia market citing and I quote: "To turn focus and resources to other priorities to long time employers". In reality, it was most likely poor reception mixed with lack of interest. One location remains in Princeton but it most likely won't last much longer. The buildings aren't going to waste though! Remember Cook Out? They're starting to move into the old buildings occupied by the former Bojangles restaurants. With one exception being the Huntington location near Ashland KY. It was turned into a car wash.

Little Oscar [Oscar Mayer], The Frito Kid [Fritos], The Jack In The Box Bunch [Jack In The Box hamburgers 1970s], the Burger Chef characters, and The Hungries from Red Barn. Cool Spot for 7-up too.
Mascots are so interesting and fun, I like learning about them, especially the obscure ones!
