Very sad for Nicky Henderson and the owners. The sheer highs and lows of owning a great racehorse. My memories of Shishkin were at Ascot Nov 2023, a race for which he was favourite, so I piled on decided he didn't want to run that day, planted his feet and refused to race, but despite this, was declared a runner and I lost £150. I tried redeeming the loss on the King George when he could say, I have bitter sweet memories of Shishkin. RIP ❤
