Corrections:
Ignore some of my statements about venn diagrams for q3. Clearly I misstated independent and mutually exclusive. Apologies.
Mechanics question 2 (b). My final conclusion was incorrect. µ is actually inversely proportional to the distance of the centre of mass to B. so as the centre of mass gets closer to B, µ increases. My reasoning was correct, I simply misstated the final conclusion.

Hi, I think there's a mistake at about 1:21:48, increasing the distance between B and centre of mass will reduce the co-efficient of friction, as you said when you reduced a to 1/2a, the co-efficient increased.
