Joscho Stephan is beyond any doubts one of the greatest players of this style. His incredible
sound and timing, mixed with influences from other styles like blues and rock music adds the special flavor to his playing. Not to mention that he has surely one of the best right hands on the planet. When I joined his band as a rhythm player, he inspired me to become a better soloist as well. He is a great improviser and person!

Ok, so, far Martin Taylor was my favorite for this style of jazz. Tommy and Frank Vignola are stellar i.e. #Swing42 but here Joscho puts in so many elements of feeling, soul, jazz, blues and unexpected creative phrasings ...i am stunned. Next live venue he plays i am going. Wow, what a treat

That is indeed a great right hand. Suits the Django slinky jangle style. Musicians are such inspiration in troubled times because I can hear and see them mastering these internal divisions (like the motor control between the left and right) and giving musical expression to them. Too bad we can't elect such artists to high office.
