I had a request to do a video on "Vargs" or "Wargs" as it's sometimes spelled. So I figured I'd talk about a few of the main ones and give some online references so you can further your research. I'll be talking about famous ones from the eddas and sagas Garm, Geri, Freki, Fenrir, Skoll and Hati. Here is a short video on these giant wolves from Norse lore and legends.

Great video! I am currently reading The Hobbit and they mention wargs. But I wanted to mention, since you also mentioned a game, witcher 3 has wargs. If you havent played they are generally with a wolf pack. Usually one warg per wolf pack that is a slightly different color and have much more HP. Probably nothing really in relation to paganism but other than "big wolf" but I just wanted to share.
