I have heard the term "Frazzled Englishwoman" thrown around for the whole tartan/brit/fisherman theme, and I couldn't be happier about these kind of items trending because I love that style already.

Your “post-war fisherman” theme could also be summed up as “Outlander”. That show has a ton of fans, was SUPER influential on the knitting/sewing community already, and has a last season coming up that people are hyped for.

What a fun break down! Loved every minute. I’m definitely all in for the English countryside seafaring fisherman look (😂) but if I never saw another bubble skirt in my life, I’d be fine with that. I just hate that silhouette.

Thank you for telling me how to look for quality in a threft store. I took my time and looked at everything. I look at all at all the tag with the material content and seams. I was shocked . I found and bought a cashmere sweater and silk dress. The dress was outdated. I sew well, and I am making 2 tops out of the dress. Thank you so much

There will always be trends. I think that's how humans are built. But the chase after them can be quite exhausting at times.

The Mocha Mousse shade skews, at least in my opinion, towards minimalism. I've been seeing it a lot lately, even before it was announced as color of the year, at mid range stores like Massimo Dutti, which have a more minimalist style. It will be interesting to see how this quite subdued color will be incorporated into more maximalist styles.

I really hope that 2025 will finally be boho year, but not mid 2010's boho but 1970s boho. Can't wait.
Same about mod inspired fashion. I love 1960s fashion so much, but so far, I've been seeing the more preppy early 60s look in stores like H&M. I feel like the more edgy Mod inspired looks have only appeared on the runways so far. Designer pieces are way over my budget, so I'm waiting for the cool designs from more affordable brands.

I was wondering whether you ever made a review of White House black market? And what do you think about the brand? They’re quite pricey, but it’s one of not so many brands which offers women’s pants in petite, shortened, regular and long versions. Some very expensive brands don’t even care to do so and I need to hem their garments on top of the high price.
