Nice to see Propain actual protect the frame. Bought a Canyon Neuron on and they just left the battery loose, scratched up the plastic cover and chipped the paint on the forks and frame down to bare aluminum. Best they could do was a £50 on-line store voucher on a 4.5k bike, awful customer serviceand no apologies. Never will I own a Canyon again!

I haven't bought a bike direct. So I haven't had to do this yet. I have however changed parts. My 2021 Orbea Laufey has bee massively upgraded. I have some new forks to fit. My Orbea Rallon which I've only had 3 weeks. I haven't changed anything yet I have bought a new pair ofwheels and a rear tyre. So I can run a full 29er. I will be having the rear shock tuned soon. Maybe the forks at the same time. Mainly because I'm heavier the Blake and have a completely different riding style.

That hair is the main focus in this video.

#askgmbn I have a propain spindrift 2021 and the front chain ring makes the rest of the gears grind (like they aren't lined up) took it to multiple bike shops but nobody seems to beable to fix this. Propain don't seem to know either... It came with sram gx group set and I also put on a 1st gen GX AXS. It seems like the front chain ring is way too far out bound but there isn't room to put it further in towards the bike... Any ideas? It only grinds the chain is on the top half of the cassette in the easier gears.

#askgmbn tech question... what are some of the problems with over forking your bike? example: I recently replaced my 160 mil fork with a 170 mil. In the process, I replaced the head tube cup with one that decreased the HT angle, so the resulting HT angle remains virtually unchanged (around 64.5 degrees. Other than changing my ST angle slightly and raising my bb (which BTW I lowered with the flip chip), I really don't see the downside, structurally speaking. What am I missing? Love the show, Thanks in advance.

From the video I can see that this bike has a defect, you might want to take it up with Propain - seems that cable routing holes are missing from the frame!

Perhaps tell also not to clamp the dropper post where you did it, as my bike mech would say 😅

If your bike comes with a dork disc installed: put on some gloves and break it off while flipping it the bird.
