UPSC Civil Services Exam is one of the most prestigious exams in the country. It has three parts, the Prelims exam, the Main exam and the Personality test, which you need to clear in order to become an IAS or IPS officer. Minimum 16-20 months and then Exam Year 1-1.5 Yrs. Most of the toppers have taken this much time even for those who have cracked in first attempt.

i think, 2 saal paper se phle __ if you start from very begging and 1 year paper dete hue..

Good somebody addressed this first attempt stupidity wildly roaming in market. First attempt works only if one invest into 2 years preparation already then comes the year of exam. First year goes into finding head n tail of the syllabus, sources, notes then starts actual prep that is consolidation, writing, revising, practice.

2 saal wale bhi college se tyyari kr lete h.. Meine bade josh me tyyari shuru ki thi pta chala ki bhot sare well prepared rhte h.. Being an engineer I took few years to understand the demand of this exam, but now it is too late to execute. I am joining a company now, I had resigned.
