March 25th is Greece Independence Day and a national holiday. For once, I decided to take the day off to go to the Independence Day parade in Athens. Then I headed to Ancient Corinth for a day trip with friends. Come see what a three-day weekend in Greece looks like as an expat!

My sister lived there in 69 to 1970. She lived in b kafishia..Can't believe I never went to visit her.there.

I love your videos! Next time in Corinth, I highly recommend that you see the fortress of Acrocorinth up the mountain. Amazing!

You didn't go to the akrokorinth..?? I just got back to the states from Greece 🇬🇷 and we loved it. Got into the Acropolis museum, the Parthenon and shops in Plakka. We ate at the stair restaurants in Plakka with live music it was excellent. We also visited the highest point in Athens and had a great dinner in Orizontes Restaurant at the top. Them we spent 4 days in Santorini which is a dream of an island. We even went on a catamaran cruise and swam in the Aegean sea. The water was 62 degrees 😳 but it was all worth it. We will certainly visit again. Ohhh and we had 0 covid vaccines and no problems entering anywhere.

Nice to see you again ..hoping to visit next spring 2023 for 2 months in Crete and come in Athens for 3 days …my uncle had the first car wash in Corinth back in the 70’s

I will be traveling to Athens, Paros & Naxos in 2 weeks!! Any tips for clothes?

we saw the parade here in Trikala and it was a warm day, also I am starting to run low on my tortilla reserves I brought in my bag from California 😂

Not much there that ain't here. Boreing. People building dogs, cats traffic nothing exciting. Hell the people living there don't want to be there.😂😂
