Too many people throw around the term “A players.” I bet you don’t know what they actually look like. True A players are often cut from literal former world math Olympiad champions, national science fair winners, debate champions, and competition programmers.

There’s levels to this game. This is why when I assess talent, I really care about educational background and previous track record of success.

Yes, you might be or find a diamond in the rough with no background or track record, but more likely than not, you’re not yet an A player.

Study, get skills, and demonstrate you get shit done. Then worry about classification of A player or not.
