The morning routine is a time for personal growth. It’s for you to have YOU time. The better that you are, the better you can serve the people around you.

You don’t have to have the same morning routine as I do, it’s about crafting your own, and I’m going to give you some tips to include in your routine.

1. Plan ahead. Make things easier for yourself by prepping everything you’ll need in the morning the night before. That way it’ll be ready for you and you’ll have no excuses not to go through with it.

2. Put your alarm clock somewhere that you’ll physically have to get up and turn it off. I recommend using an alarm clock instead of your phone so that you can stay off your phone for as long as you possibly can.

3. Figure out how much time you have in the morning.
Don’t think you have to spend an hour or two to make this work for you. You need as little as 15 minutes.

4. First thing in the morning, drink a glass of water with lemon and sea salt.

5. If the sun is out, go outside and look at the blue in the sky (not directly at the sun). This alerts your body and gets you ready for the day.

6. Don’t have caffeine for an hour after waking up because it actually helps you more if you wait. If you want to take it a step further, switch to Yerba-mate.

7. If you haven’t read the book, ‘The Miracle Morning’ by Hal Elrod, then I definitely suggest the read. Pick a few of these to include in your routine.
S - Silence. This allows your subconscious to come through
A - Affirmations. It needs to be present tense, empowering, and true.
V - Visualize. Visualize the things that you want and go through the motions of feeling it!
E - Exercise. Whatever form of exercise you enjoy.
R - Read. You only need to read a few pages each day.
S - Scribe. Ask yourself the questions that you deeply want to know and force yourself to answer them by writing them down.

8. Take a cold shower every morning. You’ll build yourself past the mental fortitude by making yourself do something you don’t want to do.

9. Listen to a podcast.

10. Plan your day. Take 10 minutes to plan it out and go into it proactively.

I was watching your episode and me and my baby girl tipped 20 something cans down the kitchen drain she's seven she was like mummy these are not healthy for you ❤ I felt so proud of her sadly from easy to hard I have some cans in the fridge I even tipped them out. I was doing good not having fizz but did order and didn't click the old order and had the cans . Like a treat but then bloody hell one can put me off eating so today we tipped them all down the sink and needed to save this. I was ready to watch one but I screwed up and swooped across and what I wanted to watch disappeared off my phone . Turned off TV as well in my room I honestly probably need to take TV out but little steps on that kids keep waking me up zero sleep man zero sleep cans no food man cans bad 😅😂😂

I would love to have a morning routine, but I work nights 12-15 hrs, get very little sleep, and once I wake up I have to feed the horses, and go to work.

What is your Yerba routine? How do you prefer to consume it? Do you buy the pre-mixed drinks, or do you brew and drink from the metal straw? I used to live in Argentina and loved the routine, I just see it being less convenient in an office setting.

I didnt get the spelling of the drink u switched for coffee but I wonder how it isnt the same effect as coffee if it has the same amount of caffeine and thats what produces the spike in coffee? What makes it different? Also, coffee for me makes no difference whether I drink it or not, it only really gives me the spike that I actually notice when I dont sleep well and I need something to "wake me up" and the spike doesnt just drop off either, it gets me started and it stays that way. 😄

If you had your phone on airplane mode before bed, you wouldn't see all the notifiactions and texts anyways. Another tip, if you dont want to buy an alarm clock lol.
