Is it normal on older models for the stem/valve to barely go into the female part in the tool? You can push it up further but it went stay

What is that fuel cell needed? If it's cordless is just the battery not strong enough?

Be careful with the triangle adapter tube on the older models because it can easily fall out and become lost !! My whole project is currently on hold for several weeks while I wait for this part in the mail from another country, and it cost more than a can of Paslode de-grease cleaner.

When I press the valve on the fuel cell, I hear gas escape, but when I press the white tip of the right angle valve I hear nothing. Is that normal ? I’m troubleshooting a nailer that’s not firing.
