After seeing this in relation to your Japan in summer video, I think you are spot on with these suggestions and itinerary. Definitely on a future list. Thank you

Although I really am anti hot weather, your video's highlighting the Akita Kanto Festival could maybe convince me to brave Tohoku in August. I'm a huge lantern festival fan, and damn it all the other places in this video have their own charms. You just keep proving you can never get enough of Japan.

I may have to check some of these locations next time I go. The festivals look really fun. But I was wondering, could you make a video with tips for renting a car in Japan?

This is a helpful video--exactly what I'm looking for! It would be my first time in Japan later this year and looking forward to it. Would language be a big challenge when going around this places you've recommended?

Thank you for the video! It was very interesting, and you were able to accurately describe the charm of each city. We are also coming to Japan this summer, and I’ve already booked a hotel in Sendai. I think this 10-day itinerary is really great.

My favourite video of yours! I will be going in december to north of Japan and want to visit some not popular places, thank you very much!

The story of the Byakkotai Samurai students at Aizu-Wakamatsu is heartbreaking, and visiting the site is worth a trip to that city for that history (and view across the city) alone. We were lucky enough to catch a full re-enactment display just as it was starting at the top of the stairs (at 1:12 in your video) with a cast dressed in full Samurai costume when we visited.

There is nothing like a great festival to see the culture of the country you are visiting. It looks amazing! Thanks for your fantastic knowledge of Japan ❤

Looks good! - Once I get my next trip in July done and dusted I'll be thinking ahead to next year (probably going for a month) and tempted to explore this region.

I need this trip in my life 💯🤩 I think it's perfect for me because I've been down, I've been right up but not in-between, never these places! Love it, the video that was recommended to me at the end was The reason to visit Japan in Summer

We will return to Japan for the 4th time in March and have planned a very similar itinerary: Tokyo - Aizuwakamatsu (3 nights) - Sendai (2 nights) - Matsushima Bay (2 nights) - Morioka (2 nights) - Kakunodate (2 nights) - Ginzan Onsen (2 nights) - Niigata (1 night) - Sado Island (3 nights) - Tokyo. We like to travel slowly, and as we both dont drive, will have to rely on public transport on Sado Island (hence 3 nights there). Thanks a lot for this video, your content is really good !

LOVE your videos! They have a great balance of being informative and interesting.
We are planning our second trip to Japan, and this time we'll be on our own in Tohoku for 5 days (in-between weekends visiting friends in Sendai). Your itinerary looks great, but would we need to rent a car for any of the towns/cities in this video if we're there for a day or so? We're not afraid of walking several kilometers a day. We're also thinking of adding Kakunodate. Thoughts? Would that need a car? Finally, which towns on this itinerary would you recommend renting a bike if there for one day? Sorry for all the questions, but I've seen a lot of travel Japan channels, and I trust your judgement more than anyone else : )
