Webinar:
Unlocking the Potential of the Laboratory through Clinical Decision Support

Webinar Abstract:
Is your health system asking more of you to drive down total cost of care, and support physician test ordering and interpretation? Based on a self-reported survey, physicians are uncertain about test ordering 15% of the time, and 8% of the time are uncertain about how to interpret the results.
Lab professionals are increasingly looked upon to provide diagnostic guidance to support clinical decision making. Further, the lab’s ability to demonstrate measurable impact on safety, quality, and cost reduction is critical in today’s environment.

In this webinar we will:
*Review the key challenges the laboratory industry is facing which is driving the need for improved diagnostic guidance solutions
*Encourage a common language and broader participation of the laboratory in the clinical decision making process
*Provide specific examples and use cases of effective clinical decision support implementations
*Foster selection of high-impact projects to effectively target clinical variability and drive best practice
