15:37 - Thank you. I can sometimes still be swayed towards a kind of fuzzy nebulous deism. But what Pinecreek is addressing right here, to me, is the single biggest "defeater" (as the presupps phrase it) to Christianity. And it becomes even more revolting when you get clearly bright men like James White, bamboozling their parishioners into believing it's OK.

As a side note, I've never heard a Christian say: "Yes, God appears to be very evil in many ways, but I will worship him anyway and try to have faith that he's not really a bad guy, because I want to go to Heaven." That might sound twisted, even craven, but it would at least be honest. Instead you get hours and hours of empty justification and nonsense. James White is simply really good at it.
