Even if you don't like seafood, I hope you come to Louisiana next time you're in the US. There is still chciken and sausage gumbo, fried chicken, red beans and rice, chicken and sausage jambalaya, roast beef poboys, and much more that isn't seafood. .. but our seafood is good, fresh, and seasoned well. Some people who don't like seafood like it here.

good job. it looks wonderful. also, for those not in the know. here is Southern Louisiana, most people don't put pickle on po' boys. you can, but most don't. it's usually on the side as 'spears' instead...

Additionally. just about ANY meat can be used. I've even had alligator, nutra rat, and snake on mine before. (I come from a Creole family which most still live on an actual bayou close to New Orleans)

There are so many types of meats you can use on a poboy, even fried oysters. Crystals hot sauce is the best!

My suggestion for a Florida adventure is Weeki Wachee Springs. It is a unique experience where women dress as ermaids and talk and sing underwater.

I love shrimp, but I have never had a Po'boy. It looked really good! You all might like Jezebel sauce, a Southern sauce made from apple and pineapple jam, horseradish sauce, and dry mustard. It is great on grilled meats. Ps- your niece's hair is absolutely gorgeous 😍
