ASK UNMC! How do I remove something that gets into my eyes and when should I seek help?

The q-tip advice really helped me. I tried using eye drops and flushing my eyes with water. I sat for several minutes with my eye over a cup full of water and blinking, but nothing was working. The q-tip got whatever it was out. My eye still hurts from all the irritation I put it through, but it's not the sharp pain of sand in my eye.

I don't know what's inside my eyes right now. I feel something when I close and open my eyes. I did everything, I tried to clean it with water, eyedrop but I still can feel it for more than one hour now. My eyes started crying now. It's hurt so much. I feel irritated. 😳😞

For people that don’t know what is in their eye or don’t see anything check for your eyelashes. They bend and poke your eye and feel like you have something in there so don’t do what I did and rub your eye until it burns and feels like your bleeding when your eyes water

I work outside and have gotten debris in my eyes multiple times including small bugs, rapid blinking helps moving the debris to the corners of the eye where you can remove it.

I shaved my beard yesterday night. And since today morning my right eye has been really itchy and red. It's 5 am and I still can't sleep cause of this. The thing is I can't find any hair particles in my eye. But I can feel it when I blink or close my eye.
