That 9-year-old boy was so smart! Most kids would have fallen for it (for understandable reasons because they're so young). But he was smart enough to realize that wasn't his mom because she would never talk like that, refused to pick up the phone/go outside, and quickly called 911 the second he knew they were trying to break in.

That last story I honestly thought was gonna be one of those stories where someone was dealing with a doppelganger who's trying to pretend to be OP's mom and deceased dad, but instead is a potential stalker/near home invasion kind of story which honestly makes it way more terrifying especially for how young OP was
