Unboxing two Baofeng DM-1701 transceivers I bought from Aliexpress from two separate sellers. I wanted to show what you would be getting ordering the Baofeng DM-1701 in 2024 as this transceiver has already been on the market for some years now. Also some sellers are shipping the DM-1701 with the OpenGD77 firmware, & others don't even though they claim it is already installed. I will also be uploading more videos of me using these transceivers & how I am getting on with DMR in general.

Recently I bought a DM-1701 and installed the OpenGD77 firmware. After some fumbles due to being a beginner at DMR I have it running. Is there a reference guide for the OpenGD77 CPS program?

with opengd77, can you edit the permit tone's, such as pressing ptt it would make a noise, can you customize that in the software on pc?
