I did say Maddie and Mackenzie didn’t want anything to do with the show as my prediction, and I’m honestly not surprised about their decision. Maddie did also say she wants nothing to do with Abby and that could also play a reason to why they’re both absent from the reunion.

Yeah I’m not surprised. Everyone on the show has been through a lot so it shocked me when a reunion was coming and I just knew that Maddie and Kenzie were completely over it. They talked about the experience so much and now they’ve deleted out of mind out if sight. Good for them. And I’m happy that the others girls came together as well it’s nice to see

When mackenzie said we didnt wanna go BACK in time, she meant : they didnt wanna go back in the past and excpirience and remeber some of the most stressful parts theyve been through in dance moms and what abby has done . They have cried and they didnt wanna remeber or be reminded for their stressful and crazy past. Even tho maddie was abbys golden child and most "well treaded dancer" she was but abby would still make it stressful and make fun ofher body parts. For example she has made fun of maddies teeth and mackenzies belly that she was "fat" which she wasnt.maddid was done with that toxic community bc abby and her mother would force her do to secret solos, be the lead for everything and maddie knew that it wasnt fair to her friends but she had no choice bc she was forced. This is why they didnt attend the dance mom renuion

But in an age where everyone is an advocate for mental health. A lot of people dont understand why they wouldn't want to ever revisit that time. Nothing to do with friendships. A lot to do with trauma... come on! We're in an age where we see whats happened and happening to child stars. Yet these girls are still being critized for not going backm

i see people saying that even brooke and paige were there and saying how it’s wrong or other things but Maddie and Mackenzie and Nia all our their own people and they chose and made their own decision. It shouldn’t be them receiving hate for it or comparison
