How To Evolve Eevee Into Umbreon And Espeon In Pokemon Sword & Shield

How to evolve Eevee into both Umbreon and Espeon in Pokemon Sword & Shield for the Nintendo Switch!
-First catch an Eevee from Route 4 (Rarity is 5% in Shield and 1% in Sword)
-Then increase the happiness of Eevee by winning battles, feeding, playing,etc...
-Once the happiness is high enough it will evolve once it levels up.
-If it evolves during the daytime it will evolve into Espeon
-If it evolves at nightime it will evolve into Umbreon.

For anyone who didn’t know, XP candies increase your eevee’s happiness similar to berries. If you use one on a low level eevee from an egg, you should be able to evolve it almost instantly.

You can also get a bunch of eeveelutions (I got Umbreon, Espeon, and Jolteon so far) from across the lake of outrage. It’s the place on the left, not the right. It should be wandering in front of the stones that are in a circle, along with a bunch of evolution stones.

I found a vaporeon and I’m just breeding it with a ditto I’m farming ode evees now :)

You could also get any eevee by breeding any evolution of eevee with a ditto

Uh... I think playing in camp is raising a different stat.

Happiness and Friendship have been a different thing in all previous game.

Friendship is when you play in camp and feed it which will cause Eevee to evolve into a sylveon.

Happiness is when you use Eevee in gym battles or battles or feed it berries or stat boosters or just simply running around with Eevee in your party. It can be decreased by fainting and this is how you evolve it into a espeon or umbreon.

I was able to get an entire set of eeveelution so before I got my first badge which I'm so happy about. Had so much trouble getting espeon cause it kept evolving j to sylveon so THANK YOU

Or you can go to the lake of outrage and find a variety of eevee evolutions. I got a flareon, Jolteon, Espion and Slyvieon that way

On sword catch a evolved version of eevee then breed it with dito

Fastest way was catching Eevee with luxury ball and throwing a soothe bell on it. Then throw it in your team and do the tournament once. Evolves at around lv 37
