Al would make a good voice-over artist for motorcycle noises in TV and film.

I was hoping that Al Snow’s vocal cords would heal properly, but it looks like a bad case of the hiccups caused irreversible damage. That’s too bad. 😔

this happened to a family friend after surgery, he had a reaction to the anesthesia and had hiccups for like 2+ weeks straight. He was legit thinking of suicide thinking he cant live like this. Finally they gave him something that worked but now anytime he gets hiccups he fears they wont go away. I couldnt imagine dealing with that.

In the case of "Dr. Death" Steve Williams and Johnny Ace, they damaged their vocal chords in mid 1990s AJPW from taking certain moves. IICR, Doc got hit with a lariat by Stan Hansen around 1996 right in the throat, and then Johnny Ace took some move wrong from Toshiaki Kawada that gave him the "people power" voice. There was an almost immediate difference in their promos before & after those matches, so they must have really been damaged.

I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. Non stop hiccups for 3 weeks straight 24/7. Holy shit.
