Everything is perfect. One thing. The material you guys use for the pop up section. It lets light in. Early morning sleepers like my wife who comes with me on all my adventures isn’t going to go for that. What about light blocking ability and finally. If you ever come out with an 8’foot model I will be first to buy it!!

The rear window should be able to be opened, so if someone closes your tailgate while you are in the unit you can get out. Not all trucks have remote tailgate releases.

Looks like this weighs a little under 1, 000 lbs? So most Tacomas would be at legal Payload capacity with the empty camper and a driver?
