This was meant to come out a couple days ago on Friday but a power cut destroyed half the video for some reason haha 🤦🏻. Anyway, this was a fascinating disappearance that I don't think is ever going to be fully solved, but I'd like to hear your thoughts on this.

I'm also going to try to have another video out this week for Friday as usual, and I currently don't have a plan because of the set back, so I'm open to suggestions! 👍

Out of all the 411 cases this is the most creepy one I've heard. It literary gives me chills. Something is definitely going on with all these missing people. Something we can't comprehend.

This case is just so baffling. It's just unbelievable that there was absolutely nothing to give any indication of where he went, or what happened. Definitely a strange case. I can't help but wonder if we'll ever know what happened. Thank you, Adam, for bringing us this case, and giving such thorough coverage.

I live an hour away from this 😐 and I spent two winters up there at a camp halfway down Brant Lake. My friend that has a camp there actually helped look for him I believe. I used to walk almost right up to Lily Pond at 3am when it was so cold out your beer would freeze after the first sip, it's creepy out there at night 👍

The disappearance of Thomas Messick has bothered me since I heard of it .. I vacationed in that exact area in the summer of 2016 I believe . We stayed in a house that was on the Schroon river that looked way too similar to the house he stayed in while hunting .. at the time of the vacation none of us knew anything about this . I grew up in the outdoors and was always super comfortable in the woods . This was my first time ever staying near brant lake and for some reason I just never settled in .. there was a trail from the house to the river and man did something about it just give me the creeps even in broad daylight .. on one of the days I was there I was looking for a pond to bass fish so I left the house alone for a few hours and hit Brant lake and then was just driving around looking for someplace else to fish .. I ended up on some backroads and had this feeling hit me like I just needed to leave and get out of the area . After about 30 mins or so I was back at the house but that feeling never left .. we went out to dinner and came back and had a fire pit in the yard and the whole time I just felt like I was looking over my shoulder .. we all went inside to go to bed, but instead of the feeling subsiding a bit it actually got worse and I caught myself looking out the front window of the house into the dark yard .. I remember thinking why in the world are you doing this to yourself because honestly I was a bit scared of what I might see . I forced myself to look away and then I went to lay down and tried to go to sleep for a bit .. till this day I have no idea why I felt the way I did up there but I never got comfortable. We were there for a week, and although we had a great time for me personally something felt really off.. when I watched missing 411 and saw this case it really bothered me .. I couldn’t believe I was in the same area he vanished less than a year later and didn’t know it. I often find myself wondering what really happened up on lily pond road . I hope someday the family gets closure .. RIP Thomas Messick .

Another sad aspect for Tom is that his beloved dog still waits at the front window of Tom's home, waiting for Tom to come home for hours every day....

Strange case. Thanks Adam. Some people have heard the sound of a metallic door opening in woods or at least that's how they describe it. The lack of animals with their strong senses does seem to indicate they were deliberately avoiding the area.

This is the strangest case ever. So many strange talking points to mention. The fact that his firearm and radio have never been found and the fact that there were no wild game movement reported makes this case mesmerizing. If he was sinking in a sinkhole, he would have been blowing the radio up for help. Thomas was a VERY SMART MAN and wouldn't have put himself in any type of danger. His situational awareness was always on high. I'm an Eagle Scout and it bothers me to loose a pillar in the community like Thomas was. We're free in America because of vetrens like him... Our prayers go out for him and his Family...🙏

Tom Messicks case is so bizarre. An accident doesn’t make sense because why can’t they find his body? Maybe he fell into an old mine or something. I just don’t think Tom would have left his post unless he had too. If he had to use the bathroom or was having a medical issue why didn’t he radio the others? Foul play is possible but I just don’t think very likely… what was that weird metallic sound his family heard? Whatever happened to Tom must have been swift because he never fired his gun or screamed. Such an odd case.

One of the older men on the hunting trip with Tom said he heard a strrange "loud snapping sound" up by where Tom was. Strange case....

You forgot to mention his brother also disappeared from the same place not long before he did. And no tracks were found where he was supposedly set up. The lore lodge covered this story not long ago
