I have had my Canon t3I and it works great. True it doesn't bring out the red as good but that can be corrected in pixsight of Adobe photoshop. Great camera with a lot of features

When stabilizing your footage don't apply any % above 5%. Warp Stabilizer can make the entire video jelly because of the rolling shutter effect when moving the camera. And even the pluggin to counter it most of the times won't work. So when in need, apply between 1% and 5% stabilization on premiere/after effects. I use a 600d for professional purposes and it rocks even without magic lantern.

I bought the 600D in 2013 when I decide to move to digital photography, Now I'm a full frame guy but the 600D equipped with the 24mm pancake lens is a light weight companion for street photography and for every situation where I don't want to carry my full frame equipment.

I bought a T3i in 2013 with a Sigma 18-250 lens. I still use it today sometimes as an additional camera on a shoot. It’s quite rugged, got dropping in a snowbank, fell off a golf cart with no problems. I will continue to use it.

Thanks man, good advice I really like how you did it, not and boring, straight to the point and price range, I used to do underwater videos in the 90ies for the sandals resort, been out of the business a long long time now, do u think a cool pix P1000 is a good starter cam, I wanna do everything video, vlogging, stills, the p1000 is a little expensive for my budget, but I love that it has long distance zoom, that's the catcher for me
