I would have liked to see you demo the sewing around the snowflake

It’s a cute, quick and easy project just like this. I think I would add batting or felt and finish the appliqué with different decorative stitches and free motion, specially the snowflakes. Thank you for sharing.

Fun idea! I’d love to see more quick Christmas gifts such as parcel toppers, and ornaments that can be mailed with a card.

Such a cute idea. I would like to see these shapes for other seasons……like Fall and Summer or holidays. Why is it, when you stitch, your stitching matches up with the corners perfectly and when I do it, the corner comes in the middle of the stitch? Every. Single. Time. 😊. Thanks Misty for such a great tutorial!

I wish you had shown how to blanket stitch around the snow flakes. I would order this all Yoda, but just not sure how to do the snowflakes. Love the table runner!!❤

Misty, I would like to see this table runner with a red and white diagonal cut one inch boarder around the edges.❤
I think the red striped candy cane boarder would make it pop! 😊❤❤

So cute. Applique scares me but I really love the gnomes

I would certainly suggest to wash and dry the cotton background and backing. The poly items will not have the same shrink as the cotton. I found this when doing embroidery with poly thread on a cotton tshirt

Awesome tutorial!👍🏻 My only concern is that the pieces are polyester and not cotton. I’d be afraid of there being issues with laundering and pressing of these pieces if any of my customers don’t use a pressing cloth. Would you ever consider making these sets out of cotton? 👵🏻💖

I feel I might be able to do this project. I've never really done applique. The trees look easy but the thought of trying to do the snowflakes are intimidating 😕

I noticed that you didn’t put batting in the middle, do you usually do that?

How did you get around all those snowflakes edges?

My every day sewer is my 1929 Singer 66-6 that I absolutely love and I have been doing applique on it.
