The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Star Explains Carol's Big Season 2 Lie

Melissa McBride, a star of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, has deconstructed Carol's great deception in the second season opener and revealed the true significance of her trip to France. The second season of Daryl Dixon opens with McBride's character meeting Ash (Manish Dayal), a survivor. After discovering that his son Avi perished in the apocalypse, Carol tells a falsehood, claiming that Sofia (Madison Lintz), her daughter, may still be alive and living in France with her father. Actually, she wants him to use his jet to take her abroad so she can find Daryl (Norman Reedus) and return him home.

McBride explained Carol's deception of Ash in the Daryl Dixon season 2 opener, citing her desperate search for her companion who vanished in Europe.
