Can we stop offering bond for violent crimes!? How many times does this need to happen for the courts to get the point?? I’m so tired of seeing stories like this which are completely preventable. They survive the initial attack just to be failed by the system and killed. This is getting really depressing to constantly see. 😢

My boyfriend kicked my teeth out at 19, we were together from 13-21, he was 3 years older and I thought I loved him. I got out, after a lot of stalking, my 6 front teeth being kicked out, violently gRaped, my apt broke into and tires slashed 4 times.
At 23 I met the love of my life, I'm almost 44 next month and we just celebrated our 20 year anniversary. He's treated me with nothing but respect and had to deal with a lot because of my trauma. I'm so blessed and love him with my whole heart.

That judge needs to be held accountable, she cannot be aloud to be a judge anymore, clearly, his parents should also be held accountable, there is video proof of their son beating up his gf so badly, yet they bail him out, you would at least expect them to make sure he stays locked up in the house... disgusting

Judges are NEVER held responsible for bad decisions as they sit up there charging people for theirs. Ugh… makes my blood boil!!!! So sick of people in power NEVER being held accountable!!!!
That poor girl, and her family. having to live with losing your child on top of INJUSTICE is just too much to bear.

I was a reporter on this case. It’s absolutely disturbing that the judge on Tennessee let him out and then failed to give him the correct ankle monitor. This should have never happened. When River walked into the courtroom it turned ice cold.

I’m so disgusted by this judge. I’m sick of the court system making calls that put violent offenders back onto the streets with the public, assuming they will follow the rules. Showing leniency to people that have no regard for human life is against everything this country represents and basic common sense. As far as I’m concerned someone that makes a choice to harm someone else, especially in such a brutal senseless attack, they need to sit in jail and wait for their court date. He proved that he was dangerous, and giving him another chance put other citizens directly in harms way. I know everyone has rights but what about the public. Your rights end where someone else’s begin. Disgusted and fed up with this senseless garbage. When will this country start protecting their law abiding citizens? Shame on this judge.

I had not heard if this case.
My ex shattered my leg, my foot, injured my back, and gave me a concussion. After being in the hospital for 3 months, leaving in a wheelchair, permanently disabled, I went back.
These people are inexplicably powerful.
I'm sorry to this family.

Btw, I'm free of him, got a perm restraining order in place and I'm out of the wheelchair, for now.
