Cuba needs to sort out it's own problem. I'm sure there's loads of Cubans that are not particularly happy with the Castro's but that is for them to fix there system.

60 + years of isolating and punishing the Castro regime has not changed the dial one single iota, yes, totalitarian regimes shouldn't be rewarded, but, obviously keeping or ramping up the current strategy is not just working. Why not try the opposite, ease sanctions, hold out olive branches and incentives to the Cuban people and maybe a change can start to happen from within.

sanctions are generally designed only to hurt the poor people in a country. there should be a rule that sanctions should only be for frivolous items meant for the wealthy in that country (fancy cars, household supplies, jewelry, fancy computers, etc.) sanctions should never be for basic foods, clothes, medical supplies and educational needs

On June 23rd for the 29th time, 184 countries in the UN voted in favour of a resolution to end the economic blockade on Cuba. The only 2 countries to vote against were the US and Israel. The US must do 2 things: end the inhuman blockade, and respect Cuba's sovereign
