But what about 3x-5x leverage? All of these sites offer this as well. The high leverage offerings are really just shock value. I don’t know anyone who trades with anything above 25x... and that is pretty extreme also. The biggest successful traders I know are using 2x-5x at most.

I scalp daily profits with 100x leverage. Helps me keep my losers small and allows me to run my winners. Proper bank roll management is way more important than whatever leverage your using.

If you are a very experienced Trader and have a winning track record Leverage is the only way to trade it sounds backwards but the more leverage you have the less money you need for profit

Good info. I usually do not agree with you bout leverage trading but I can agree with you about the 100x. It's just silly and a total gamble & gimmic. With that being said, most of the people using crazy leverage really have no biz trading anyway. I see it on a daily basis. But this is a free world and people should be able to do what they want; within reason of of course.
I do not blame the exchanges. They're just offering a service. The blame goes to the person choosing 100x. I know personal accountability isn't very popular in crypto but the fact remains....no one put a gun to their head. If the exchanges are guilty for offering 100x, then youtubers promoting the next shitcoins that will 100x etc are equally as guilty. I'm sure tons of people lost money on crypto youtuber hopium.

Leverage is bs unless your a savage trader, Should avoid using leverage.

Bybit offers a small reward instead of a fee on limit orders. Liquidation sucks. I was filled and liquidated all in the same second on the last big bitcoin dump.

I will as admit i lost 10k in seconds bc i dod not have a clue when i started. 3 huge rules. Use a small amount of money not 1 btc like i did lol. Wallet managment. And controle greed. You should be in and out within 10 min max.. people spend way to long in 100x trades i use to as well. Its designed to speed up time. So pull over 15% to cover fees and get out. Most peole try to pull over 100% and get greedy. Go for the 30 to 40% gains over and over its not hard if you knw how to control greed and dont treat ot like a casino

Leverage trading is good for quick scalps but not swing trades or big market moves.

If people just put the money they donated to leverage exchanges directly into good alt projects, the bull market would be a self fulfilling prophecy and draw in the new money as prices rise

25x leverage is also dumb, because the daily swings are sometimes 10 15 % which also wipes you out. If i were to use leverage in crpyto it wont be more then 2 to 1.
