I live in Berlin and I travelled a lot in Europe. I like watching your videos about Europe. I think they are intelligent, profound and really have great advice for overseas travellers. I can feel that you really understand Europe and our way of life and you show a lot of respect towards it.

Berlin is one of the top cities in Europe to visit. Many museums to visit and in general a positive vibe for everything.

I'm a German and I think, you captured the most important sights of Berlin and gave us an amazing insight into Berlin's huge past and history. It's not easy to pack all that into a quite short documentary. As always a wonderful, intelligent, informative and well thought about travel guide. Absolutely enjoyable and worth watching. Bravo, Rick!

I like the way Mr. Rick describes Europe, he is very competent. I am Italian with part of my family German, I have relatives in Switzerland and France, in short I feel like a real European, and I recognize in him a very good knowledge about our continent. Bravo!

I lived here for 3 months this year, great city! This brings back pleasant memories. One of the best parts of Berlin for me was the fantastic public transit. I used it constantly and always enjoyed it!

I've grown up watching your videos and now my best friend in Germany stars in this video and works for you. Hi Holger! After living as an exchange student in Germany I became friends with Holger and have had many adventures in and around Berlin East and West pre and post wall. Now I'm a full time German teacher in the US. Great stuff!

When we shopped in East Berlin when the wall was up it was so different. The stores were not stocked well. The clerks were rude because us tourists were spending more money than they made in a year. The Stazi followed us around saying it was for our safety. Nobody jay walked except tourists. I loved the ampelman on the walking lights. I remember we went to the bathroom and left money for the bathroom cleaner. She almost cried because we left enough for her to buy her family presents and it was only a few dollars. We tried to leave more but Major Grieshabor pushed us out the door before we offended the lady. So many memories.
